Eroded DeLorean (Gray) takes one of the most recognizable cars of the 1980s and treats it as if it had been dug up rather than built — an icon of the future presented as a future ruin. It belongs to Daniel Arsham's fictional-archaeology approach, where familiar objects are recast as relics and past, present, and future collapse into a single thing.
Cast in resin, plastic, and aluminum oxide, the gray surface reads as mineralized and weathered, crystalline breakage standing in for decay. At 31 cm long it sits in the hand as an artifact rather than a model.
